Alphabet (GB), leasing and mobility specialist, today announced it has been awarded the 2021 UK Top Employer Certification. The company is receiving the award for the eighth consecutive year, recognising its dedication to excellent HR policies and people practices for a better world of work.
The award is presented to leading employers who demonstrate excellence in employee conditions, develop talent at all levels and strive to continuously enhance their employment strategy, through progressive, ‘people-first’ HR practices. The Top Employers Institute assessed Alphabet’s approach in HR strategy and people management and as a result, awarded Alphabet the Top Employer UK 2021 Certification. This earns the company an exclusive place among a select group of certified companies in the UK and globally.
The Top Employers Institute assesses participants through a global HR Best Practices Survey and organisations must successfully achieve required standards in a number of key areas in order to be certified. The survey encompasses over 100 questions which cover 6 HR domains across 20 topics including: People Strategy, Work Environment, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Wellbeing and Diversity and Inclusion. The Top Employers Institute evaluates the implementation of these HR practices and reviews how they are supported through Strategy, Ownership, Practices, Measurement and Technology.
