Auto Trader to giveaway a brand-new car for every England goal this summer

Every time the England team score a goal in this year’s World Cup, one lucky person will win a brand-new car, courtesy of Auto Trader, the UK’s largest digital marketplace for new and used cars.

The competition is set to peak excitement for England fans with every goal, also making each ninety minutes a bit more interesting for non-football supporters and other UK home country football fans.

To win one of the four cars on offer: Jeep Renegade, Abarth 595, Fiat 500X or Alpha Mito, all competition entrants have to do is post #AutoTraderGoals on Twitter, Instagram or Facebook as soon as an England goal is scored. Alternatively, entrants can register their email address on www.autotrader.co.uk/goals when a goal is scored.

England World Cup star John Barnes, an ambassador for the #AutoTraderGoals campaign, said: “It’s impossible to describe the feeling of scoring a goal in the World Cup, but I imagine winning a brand-new car is up there too, and I’ve got my fingers crossed for a flood of England goals this summer.”

The #AutoTraderGoals competition will launch with England’s first competitive game against Tunisia on Monday 18th June. The competition windows will open for entrants as soon as each England goal is scored, with one entrant picked at random for each England goal.
