BCA updates Buyer app with new features

BCA Buyer app delivers a personalised digital experience for customers

BCA has launched a major update to its Buyer app to make it even easier for BCA’s customers to find the vehicles they need while on the go. The BCA Buyer app has been welcomed by customers, with over 5,000 unique users since launch in November 2018.

A new ‘free text’ search function allows buyers to locate stock by mixing and matching these criteria including sale location, registration details and equipment data, such as ‘climate control’ or ‘towbar’, for example.

The latest update introduced in March allows filters to be applied when searching for stock, including search by vehicle type (‘car’ or ‘LCV’), model group, colour, mileage, CAP Clean price and age.

Results can be sorted across a range of bespoke criteria, from sale catalogue to price and a new ‘recently added’ function.  Mobile users can also now access their saved searches on BCA Auction View.

The Buyer app update also introduces an improved image viewer that allows all vehicle pictures to be seen in full screen, with the ability to pan and zoom.

Dene Jones, chief marketing and data officer said: “The Buyer app is an important part of our journey to giving our customers a truly personalised digital experience that supports their business needs.  Our vision is the delivery of accurate real-time intelligence that connects every aspect of buying and selling with BCA, the UK’s largest used vehicle marketplace.”

The BCA Buyer app streamlines the buying process to ensure that customers never miss a vehicle.  The app is free to download in the Google Play and Apple App Store.

BCA will continue to roll-out regular updates to the Buyer app based on user feedback to ensure it consistently evolves with the needs of customers.
