Citroën ë-Dispatch named ‘Best EV Van’ in Fleet World Great British Fleet Awards 2022

Citroën ë-Dispatch has added to its list of top accolades, winning Fleet World’s ‘Best EV Van’ title for the second year running at the Great British Fleet Awards 2022. The all-electric ë-Dispatch impressed the judges with its exceptionally low cost of ownership, its practicality and adaptability, as well as up to 205-miles of electric range (WLTP combined cycle).

Available with either a 50kWh or a 75kWh battery pack, ë-Dispatch offers up to 143 or 205 miles of range (WLTP combined cycle) respectively, and comes with a maximum payload of over 1,000kg. The Citroën ë-Dispatch van range is ideal for both fleet customers and local businesses with a choice of different vehicle lengths, practical and modular interiors, as well as class-leading comfort and technology.

Citroën ë-Dispatch is available in three lengths and two trim levels. XS variants measure 4.6m long and are ideal for urban environments with agile handling and compact overall dimensions. M variants measure 4.95m long and XL variants are 5.3m long. Citroën ë-Dispatch can be charged easily at the driver’s home (via a 7.4kW wallbox), or at a rapid public charging station. An 80% charge takes just 30 minutes when using a 100kW charger – making ë-Dispatch ideal for daily use.

The multi-award winning ë-Dispatch is always a comfortable place to be for the driver and any passengers on board. The electric motor provides a smooth and relaxing driving experience, while the suspension is supple and compliant regardless of the load being carried. There is plenty of storage throughout the cabin too, and up to 15 Driver Assistance Systems to ensure safe, stress-free driving. Key features include a lane departure warning system, advanced video emergency braking and forward collision warning.

John Kendall, editor of Van Fleet World, said: “Demand for electric vans is growing rapidly and the ë-Dispatch continues to be among the most attractive propositions on the market. It offers competitive pricing and payload, as well as one of the longest ranges on a full charge with the 75kWh battery. A range of drive mode options ensures drivers can maximise range or performance at the touch of a button and easily adapt to changing circumstances. Competition is growing, but Citroën ë-Dispatch is still the benchmark electric van.”

Eurig Druce, Citroën UK’s managing Director, commented: “The fleet and business sectors are incredibly competitive and are crucial for a brand like Citroën. We are proud to be one of only a few manufacturers in the UK already able to provide customers with full-electric vans right across our entire Light Commercial Vehicle range – from the compact ë-Berlingo Van through to the large ë-Relay. Naturally we are delighted with the recognition ë-Dispatch continues to receive from Fleet World.”

Citroën will offer an electrified variant across its entire vehicle range by 2025.
