Model update

Citroën launches new ‘C-Series’ C3 Aircross compact SUV special edition

Since its launch late in 2017, C3 Aircross Compact SUV has established a strong position in the B-SUV segment, bringing a distinctive, comfortable and practical offering to the sector. With its unique, customisable good looks, benchmark interior space and peerless modularity – as well as 12 driver assistance systems and connectivity features designed to make life easier – it is not surprising that the model is so popular amongst discerning compact SUV customers.

In recognition of its breadth of talents in real world use, Citroën C3 Aircross Compact SUV has won a host of prestigious awards. This year alone, UK accolades include ‘Small SUV of the Year’ in the Auto Express New Car Awards; ‘Compact Crossover of the Year’ in the Company Car Today CCT100 Awards; and ‘Best Small SUV’ in the Business Motoring Awards 2019.

True to the Citroën Advanced Comfort® programme, C3 Aircross Compact SUV provides convincing levels of on-board comfort, with a commanding driving position and a relaxed driving experience. Equally at ease in the city and out on the open road, the model’s abilities are enhanced by the availability of Citroën’s Grip Control® system with Hill Descent Assist.

In addition to the distinctive style and comfort levels on-board, C3 Aircross Compact SUV continues to offer unrivalled levels of modularity and flexibility. For example, on the top specification ‘Flair’ trim level – which has accounted for over three quarters of UK sales in 2019 – a sliding two-thirds, one-third rear bench is fitted as standard. This useful feature allows customers to prioritise boot space over rear legroom, as and when required. The sliding rear seat function also allows easy access to the top tether points, which are located on the backrests, without having to go through the boot when fitting a child seat.

A significant player in the segment, C3 Aircross Compact SUV has already sold more than 250,000 examples in Europe, making it the second best-selling passenger car in Citroën’s range. Drivers are attracted to its body styling and ‘optimistic’ design – each a positive expression of individuality. This approach is enhanced through the model’s personalisation options, which customers can use to customise the vehicle based on their own preferences.

Across Europe, a full 25% of C3 Aircross Compact SUV sales feature the bi-tone roof option, and 20% feature a Colour Pack. Through its versatility, C3 Aircross Compact SUV is a transition model that appeals to a wide demographic, from young families who value modularity and safety, to adventurers who want to stand out and go anywhere.

Available from February 2020, Citroën is proud to introduce the new C3 Aircross Compact SUV ‘C-Series’ special edition. Designed to incorporate unique styling details, both inside and out, the ‘C-Series’ also features enhanced levels of standard equipment over and above the ‘Feel’ trim level on which it is based.

Exterior styling enhancements to the ‘C-Series’ special edition include a unique ‘Regal Red’ Colour Pack – complete with coloured headlamp surrounds and matching door mirrors – complemented by a bi-tone black roof and 16-inch ‘Matrix’ gloss black alloy wheels. To complete the look, 3D ‘C-Series’ badging adorns the front doors.

The exterior body colours are both pure and elegant, pairing beautifully with the ‘Regal Red’ Colour Pack. The available body colours are Natural White, Perla Nera Black (M), Cumulus Grey (M) and Platinum Grey (M), creating four harmonious, original and differentiated new combinations for an SUV with distinctive style.

Inside, the warm and bright ambience of C3 Aircross Compact SUV is enhanced with a dashboard insert made from soft-touch material and Satin Chrome air-vent surrounds, striking a pure and stylish tone. The comfortable, broad and welcoming seats are embellished with white topstitching and a horizontal ‘Regal Red’ contrasting stripe on the upper part of the seatbacks – echoing the touches of colour outside. The ‘C-Series’ logo on the seats reminds passengers of the exclusive nature of the special edition, whilst the special black front and rear protective mats – with red topstitching – and a unique door-sill trim, constitute the finishing touches.

Based on the ‘Feel’ trim level, which already offers high levels of style, comfort and technology, the ‘C-Series’ version is equipped with the following additional standard equipment: automatic air conditioning, automatic windscreen wipers, electrochrome rear view mirror, rear parking sensors plus Mirror Screen® with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay™.

The C3 Aircross Compact SUV ‘C-Series’ special edition is powered by the multi-award winning 1.2L PureTech 110 Stop & Start engine, paired with a 6-speed manual transmission.

C3 Aircross Compact SUV ‘C-Series’ 1.2L PureTech 110 Stop & Start 6-speed manual is available to order now, from only £19,550 MRRP OTR, with first customer deliveries expected from late February 2020.
