Isuzu D-Max receives ‘Best Pick-Up’ title from Business Vans

The Award-Winning Isuzu D-Max has reclaimed the esteemed ‘Best Pick-Up’ title for 2023 from commercial vehicle specialist publication, Business Vans. Extending Isuzu UK’s portfolio of awards, this is the brand’s fourth accolade honouring the range, excluding awards specific to trim level.

Having won 2023’s ‘Pick-Up of the Year’ award from What Van?, Company Car and Van, and 4×4 Magazine, the addition of Business Vans’ ‘Best Pick-Up’ is a glowing testament to the Isuzu D-Max’s unrivalled capability, durability, and versatility. The award’s deliberation process saw the range thoroughly examined by a panel of independent industry professionals and motoring journalists, who looked at features including design, functionality and price. Impressing the judges even further was the extensive model line-up for the Isuzu D-Max, offering many trim levels that fall into the Business, All-Purpose and Adventure categories.

Business Vans is an online publication niche to the commercial vehicle industry with various types of content. Aimed at tradespeople and small fleets running vans and other commercial vehicles, the outlet provides all the latest van news, van reviews, van tax, and van operating advice. The site also contains industry news and updates on the law, and also offers a regular newsletter to interested readers.

Alan Able, Managing Director of Isuzu UK, said: “I am immensely proud that Isuzu UK has received yet another award highlighting the quality of the Isuzu D-Max range. Although we won the ‘Best Pick-Up’ award back in 2021, adding this title to the growing list of awards for 2023 further reinforces why Isuzu UK are the Pick-Up Professionals.”

The judges for the Business Vans award commented: “The D-Max comes in single and double cab variants and it’s powered by a 1.9-litre turbodiesel and it does the job very effectively. It has the ability to tow 3.5 tonnes and the vehicle is also backed by Isuzu’s 125,000 mile/5 Year warranty. The model range runs from the entry Business through All-Purpose to Adventure.”

The Isuzu D-Max range caters for every need and is available in single, extended or double-cab body styles. The business-aimed Utility specification features wipe-clean vinyl floor covering, hard-wearing cloth upholstery and automatic headlights & windscreen wipers. The DL20 specification adds items such as heated front seats, rear parking sensors and 18-inch silver alloy wheels.

Moving towards the All-Purpose and Adventure models, the DL40 features even more SUV-like specifications such as a keyless entry & push-button start system, dual-zone climate control, leather interior and a reversing camera, along with a 7-inch multimedia system that includes Apple CarPlay & Android Auto compatibility. The range is topped by the best-selling V-Cross model which adds a 9-inch multimedia system along with an eight-speaker sound system and distinctive gun-metal grey exterior styling elements, with the flagship Arctic Trucks AT35 model offering an extreme adventure pick-up for any dedicated thrill-seekers.
