Lexus joins the UK’s Motability Scheme with the new UX 250h F Sport Design

From this week, people with mobility needs will be able to access a Lexus vehicle through the UK’s Motability Scheme.

The company is making its entry into the nationwide leasing programme with the new UX 250h F Sport Design, a recently launched version of its self-charging hybrid electric compact SUV that matches highly efficient performance with an extra dash of sporting style. Lexus aims to make further models available in the future.

The scheme enables people who receive a mobility allowance to use that money to help pay for the lease of a brand new vehicle. After making an initial advance payment, a monthly sum is paid covering all aspects of vehicle use except for fuel. Insurance, servicing, maintenance, wear-and-tear repairs, breakdown cover, windscreen repairs and tyre repair and replacement are all covered by the three-year leasing agreement.

The Lexus UX 250h F Sport Design falls within the price parameters for the Motability Scheme, providing a premium driving experience and Lexus’s famous refinement, comfort and takumi craftsmanship details. The new model stands out with its F Sport spindle grille with black F-motif mesh and chrome frame, 18-inch dark metallic alloy wheels and dedicated front and rear bumper designs and jet black roof spoiler. Other features include Lexus’s latest multimedia system with 12-inch display and “Hey Lexus” onboard assistant, easy smartphone integration with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, heated front seats, dual-zone automatic air conditioning with Lexus’ Nanoe-X air quality system, synthetic leather upholstery, reversing camera, automatic wipers, LED headlights with Automatic High Beam, chrome roof rails, black wheel arch mouldings and Lexus “F” badging. It also comes equipped with the Lexus Safety System+ suite of active safety and driver assistance features.

Chris Hayes, Director of Lexus in the UK, commented: “The Motability Scheme provides a valuable service, helping thousands of people to access a new vehicle and help maintain their mobility independence. We are confident our new UX 250h F Sport Design will be an attractive proposition for those looking for a premium electrified model, supported by Lexus’s exceptional reliability and industry-leading customer service.”

Lexus centres have specially trained team membership in place to handle Motability enquiries. Further information can be found at https://www.lexus.co.uk/motability
