Low-mileage and low-ownership examples confirmed for CCA’s auction at The London Classic Car Show

The lot list for Classic Car Auctions sale at The London Classic Car Show is increasing by the day, with a number of fabulous, low-mileage and low-ownership examples confirmed.

Finished in an original Lotus Orange is a very special 1977 Lotus Esprit Series 1 which has just 27,000 miles on the clock. This sublime example has had over 2,000 man-hours and over £35,000 spent on returning it to ‘showroom fresh’ best. The engine, gearbox and chassis all have matching numbers, and the interior has been retrimmed by SJ Sportscars in Tartan and Green fabric, with Orange carpets – which is 100% period correct. This full restored example which has had no expense spared, is estimated at (£): 58,000 – 68,000.

Another low-mileage example confirmed for the two-day sale in June is this 1985 Ford Escort 1.6 Injection Cabriolet which is well presented in Rosso Red. With just 29,400 miles and one owner, this is a fantastic opportunity which has been recommissioned and is in fabulous condition throughout. Estimated at (£): 12,000 – 16,000.

Gary Dunne, Sales Manager for CCA commented “The line up for our debut at The London Classic Car Show is impressive and we have many more cars going live on our website in the coming days. This sale will be momentous for us – this is our first auction outside of the Midlands and is our first auction where buyers can attend in person for 18 months. We cannot wait to welcome you back into the auction hall at the end of June!”

CCA have achieved some great results with E-Types over the last few years and this sale will see a handful offered for sale, including this 1975 Jaguar E-Type S3 Roadster. Still wearing its original coat of Signal Red with a black interior and chrome wires, it indicates just 32,600 miles which is supported by a detailed history. The fascinating history file contains the original Passport to Service with six stamps, an original sales brochure, owners handbook and no less than 29 MOT certificates! Patently looked after from day one, it is estimated (£): 60,000 – 70,000.

With just 21,800 miles, this 2005 Mercedes-Benz SL55 AMG F1 (R230) is superbly presented in Iridium Silver with an unmarked Alpaca Grey interior. With just three previous keepers, a comprehensive history file and supplied with its original book pack, this modern classic is not to be missed. Estimated at (£): 35,000 – 40,000, it is fitted with the F1 Performance Pack, vario panoramic roof and Bose sound system.
