Motorline – Awarded the Number One Dealer Group for 2020!

The Hyundai division within the Canterbury based Motorline Group claimed Dealer of the Year 2020 at Hyundai Worcester; Aftersales Dealer of the Year 2020 at Hyundai Maidstone and the number one overall ranking for Hyundai Dealer Group of the Year 2020.

Paul Stapylton, Hyundai Operations Director from Motorline said: “To win these awards is testament to the hard work and dedication of the management team. I was impressed with the way in which they navigated through 2020 in the challenging conditions everybody had to face but to come out on top was fantastic!  The attention to detail and the pursuit of focusing on all the key KPI’s gave them the performance to receive such accolades and I am very proud of their achievements.”

Nick Tunnell, Business Transformation Director at Hyundai Motor UK, commented on Motorline’s multiple wins: “To secure three wins against such fierce competition is really quite remarkable. It illustrates how effectively the business operates, both at a group level and within each dealership. With strong management and engagement with our business at all levels, Motorline has achieved remarkable results for themselves and for the Hyundai brand over the past year.”

There are exciting times ahead for the Hyundai brand in 2021, with their focus on new models, advanced technology and electric vehicles. With the launch of the all-new Tucson, all-new i20, 2021 Kona and Kona N, 2021 Santa Fe, i20n, 2021 i30n as well as the Bayon and the fantastic Ioniq-5 it promises to be a year like no other!

Thomas Obee, Chief Executive Officer at Motorline, commented: “We are delighted to receive these awards, which clearly demonstrates our commitment to delivering an outstanding service for our customers and the Hyundai brand.

“Our group focus is on providing exceptional high standards with class-leading customer facilities and offering the highest level of customer service as a result of our investments in training and systems. Over the past three years we have increased our customer facing staff training and later this year we plan to open an additional new training facility in Bristol to further support our businesses in the South West and Midlands. The awards from Hyundai UK are a clear signal that our training is driving the successes we have seen from our Hyundai division with these highest of accolades, and I am confident we will see even more this year”.

Motorline Hyundai has centres in Ashford, Canterbury, Gatwick, Gloucester, Hereford, Maidstone and Worcester.
