Following the announcement of a number of changes in senior leadership roles at Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles last month, the brand is pleased to name its new Head of Fleet.
Rob Holdcroft, currently National Sales Manager for the brand, will take up the role of Head of Fleet on 12 July, replacing Claire English who is moving to Audi UK. Holdcroft has worked for the brand in sales operations since 2016, both managing the area sales teams, and in sales development roles, to ensure a customer centric experience throughout the Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles’ Van Centre network.
Prior to joining the brand, Holdcroft worked in the Volkswagen Group’s Trade Parts Specialists team, as TPS Operations Manager. Holdcroft will report into David Hanna, who was confirmed last month as Head of Sales Operations for Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles.
Commenting on the latest change, Director of Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, Cian O’Brien said: “I’m pleased to see Rob stepping up to a new role in the team, bringing fresh ideas and ambitions, coupled with excellent knowledge and experience of our network and customers.
“We have an exciting course ahead of us, with the forthcoming launches of the new Multivan, ID.Buzz and ID. Buzz Cargo, and new Amarok in the next few years, as well as developments in electrification and digitalisation. I’m delighted to have an engaged team in place who are as excited as me to get stuck into the challenges.”
