On Saturday 7th March, winners of the annual PEUGEOT Guild of Gold Lion programme were revealed at an awards ceremony at The Grove Hotel in Hertfordshire. The awards ceremony, hosted by impressionist and comedian John Culshaw, recognised the best performing Retailers, Sales Managers and Aftersales teams within the PEUGEOT Network.
South West retailers have topped PEUGEOT’s Guild of Gold Lion programme, which recognises the best Retailers, Sales Managers and Aftersales personnel within the PEUGEOT Network in 2019, at an awards ceremony held at The Grove Hotel in Hertfordshire.
This year’s Guild of Gold Lion programme saw the top 25 Retailers in PEUGEOT’s 183- strong UK Retailer Network awarded the Guild of Gold Lion award – with each of the recognised Retailers picking up a plaque commemorating their achievement.
The Guild of Gold Lion programme also recognised the top 25 performing Sales Managers and Aftersales Managers and the top 10 best performing Business Centres. Retailers based in the South West of England topped the Sales Manager league, with many of the top performing Retailers and Sales Managers found in Barnstaple, Exeter, St Austell, and Launceston.
Hawkins St Austell PEUGEOT branch, was the top performing Retailer, Arbury Bromsgrove was the top performing Business Centre and Gavin Matthews of Truscotts Barnstaple took home the Sales Manager award. Hayley Elliott of Halliday’s of Bushmills was awarded the Aftersales Manager trophy in the Aftersales League.

This year’s winners all exceeded our expectations and continued to set a positive example to their colleagues.â€
All of the winners were announced at the Grove Hotel in Hertfordshire, with impressionist and comedian John Culshaw hosting the evening and handing out the individual awards. The best performers in the Retailer, Sales Manager and Aftersales Leagues were:
Retailer –Hawkins St Austell
Sales Manager – Gavin Matthews, Truscotts Barnstaple
Aftersales Manager – Hayley Elliott, Halliday’s of Bushmills
Business Centre – Arbury Bromsgrove
