UFODRIVE delivers on funding…….and now, on cars

Leading sustainable car rental company, UFODRIVE is delighted to announce that it has already achieved its initial crowdfunding drive target – with two weeks still remaining – and now reveals its latest initiative – the option of having your car delivered to you, for ultimate ease of rental.

Funding achieved but still opportunity to invest

At the beginning of the year UFODRIVE announced a £1.5 million funding round on SEEDRS, in order to aid further expansion in the UK and Europe, as well as a move into the USA. Strong performance in 2020 - with the prospect, through multiple new signed-up rental sites, of a further upturn in 2021 – as well as a secondary income stream from UFODRIVE’s own digital E Mobility Solution platform, which offers fleet managers an easy transition to an electric-only fleet (saas: Software as a Service), has proved an attractive investment proposition. Having successfully reached its target, but with the funding drive set to run until the last week in February, UFODRIVE is aiming to attract further investment still.

UFODRIVE launches #EVDELIVERY

UFODRIVE is also excited to announce an extension of its service offer, which now means that anyone living in a wide area of London has the option of delivery – something unique in the all-electric rental sector. This new development came about in response to customer feedback on how the company could enhance its offer. The £39.00 cost covers the car being brought to the customer and then collected again at the end of the rental, as well as the additional cleaning and sterilisation of the car required to prevent the risk of infection during the delivery and pick up process. Delivery – #evdelivery – can be requested up until 24 hours before the rental is due to start and will initially be available at UFODRIVE’s London and Dublin rental locations.

“We are delighted to have successfully achieved the hoped-for £1.5 million target we set for ourselves but, with people continuing to invest and almost two weeks still left to run, we are looking to secure additional investors during this period,” explains UFODRIVE UK country manager, Jonathan Shine. “Also, having listened to our customers, we were aware of a desire for people to have the car delivered directly to them and so we sought to implement this at the earliest possible opportunity. We believe this is another first for UFODRIVE in the wake of the other ground-breaking partnerships that have also recently been announced.”
