Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles is getting into the Christmas spirit by teaming up with Next, to help tow an enormous festive bauble across the country with its Volkswagen Amarok.
The award-winning pick-up has been given a festive makeover with a special wrap before heading out on the ultimate Christmas tour around the country, towing Next’s giant festive bauble to spread some joy over the holiday season.
The Amarok will be towing the giant decoration from Edinburgh to London via Manchester and Milton Keynes in order to help Next sell its festive jumpers at Christmas pop-up shops around the nation to raise money for Save The Children.
The giant bauble has the chassis of a small car and with its towing capacity of 3,100kg – the equivalent of 18 reindeers – the Amarok is the ideal sleigh for the festive tour.
Whether it’s towing half the weight of an elephant or carrying 1,000kg of snow in its load bay, the Amarok is the perfect partner to keep businesses moving over the Christmas period. And if the Next tour gets stuck in the snow, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles offers extended Van Centre hours and mobile servicing as part of its Working With You promise to keep things moving.
