The Honda Civic Type R was named ‘Best Fun Car’ at the annual Autocar Awards at Silverstone Circuit yesterday evening. The home of British motorsport was a fitting location for the award win of a car which has been built on a long tradition of performance cars inspired by the spirit of racing. An industry accolade for Honda’s iconic ultimate hot hatch. The Autocar Awards celebrate both the best cars and the best people in the British Automotive industry.
Launched in late 2022, the new Civic Type R has been developed using the success of its predecessors. In its sixth generation and over 25 years since it first launched, the car has been refined and engineered to deliver the most exhilarating Civic Type R experience to date.
