International Motors Ltd (IML) to build UK network for B–ON

International Motors Limited (IML), a leading automotive distributor, is thrilled to announce its acquisition of the exclusive rights to sell the highly anticipated electric vehicle brand, B–ON, in the United Kingdom. As the demand for sustainable transportation continues to rise, IML is excited to bring this cutting-edge German eLCV brand to the UK market, offering fleet customers a greener alternative to traditional ICE delivery vehicles.

Following a highly successful appearance at the recent Commercial Vehicle Show, where B–ON made a lasting impression on potential fleet customers, industry experts and car enthusiasts, International Motors Limited is now planning the expansion of the B–ON network across the United Kingdom. In order to provide like-minded clients across the nation with a seamless experience, IML has a clear vision to create a strong and wide dealership network, with a special focus in built-up urban regions.

By the end of 2023, International Motors Limited is aiming to have established 25 committed dealerships each offering the B–ON franchise, with plans for further expansion of the network in 2024 and the following years. As part of its expansion strategy, International Motors Limited is particularly interested in gaining a strong presence in proximity to major conurbations across the UK. This approach will ensure convenient access to the B–ON brand for a wide customer base, allowing individuals from urban areas to experience the benefits of last-mile electric delivery.

Dealerships that join the B–ON franchise will have the opportunity to offer customers the B–ON Max and Giga models in two different trim levels: BOX and PURE. The BOX model comes fitted with a large cargo box, while the PURE provides just the van’s chassis frame, allowing volume versatility for customised cargo solutions. These exceptional electric vehicles represent the pinnacle of B–ON’s advanced engineering and design, and have been used in the German market by Deutsche Post for the last 6 years, covering over 250 million miles. It’s the world’s largest single fleet of eLCVs with over 24,000 vehicles on the road, exhibiting the brand’s established overseas credibility. Put simply, it’s electrification that works.

B–ON UK Business Development Manager, Ian Armstrong, said: “International Motors Limited is delighted to introduce the German B–ON brand to the UK market. With our extensive expertise in automotive distribution and a deep commitment to sustainability, we are confident that the B–ON franchise will revolutionize the electric light commercial vehicle landscape in the United Kingdom. We are actively seeking forward-thinking dealerships to join us on this exciting journey, and together, we will shape the future of last-mile delivery across the UK.”
