MG Motor UK has retained its crown as the UK’s fastest growing car manufacturer, recording an astonishing 24th consecutive month of year-on-year volume growth. The marque, which places truly affordable, value for money motoring at the heart of its model line-up, logged a record-breaking 835 registrations in October – the most MG has achieved in any October since the brand relaunched.
MG’s outstanding sales performance for the month comes on the back of a strong year for the brand, with the latest figures resulting in a momentous 36% year to date increase in growth compared to the same period in 2018. For the first time, the manufacturer has amassed 10,000 sales since January, with more people than ever picking up the keys to their brand-new MG.

October saw a number of customers take the wheel of their new all-electric ZS EV compact SUV, with further deliveries continuing in earnest throughout November. Buyers will, this month, have the chance to fully explore All New MG HS, the flagship model in the MG line-up. Dealer demonstrators will land in showrooms across the country over the coming weeks as the brand looks to showcase its high-quality alternative to conventional mid-sized SUVs.
