Nathaniel Cars, a leading MG Motor UK dealership based in South Wales, has solidified its reputation for excellent service after winning the Global Five Star Award for Excellence at the MG Motor International Dealer Awards.
The dealership, which has sites in both Cardiff and Bridgend, collected the award in Shanghai. Judged on criteria such as customer service, marketing and unit sales, Nathaniel Cars is the first dealer in the UK to take the top accolade. The award is the third consecutive win for Nathaniel’s in as many years after being crowned MG Motor UK Dealer of the Year 2018 and receiving the Four Star Award for Excellence in 2017.
Nathan Griffiths, Sales Manager at Nathaniel Cars, said: “Providing excellent service is a key part of our philosophy at Nathaniel Cars. Since we joined the MG family in 2015, we’ve almost doubled our annual unit sales by showcasing the exceptional value for money offering that the MG range provides. Nathan’s motivation to succeed has been driven in part by his health, after being diagnosed with and beating cancer.
“Being told that I had Non-Hodgkin lymphoma and a 40-percent chance of survival motivated me to make the most of every opportunity presented to me. Once my treatment was over, I threw myself into the MG brand and it’s grown from there. We try to keep our offering simple by doing the basics well and focusing on the customer and the vehicles. The dealership recently played host to the Football Association of Wales to announce MG as the official vehicle partner to the organisation. The event, which saw Wales manager Ryan Giggs and Wales and Everton Midfielder, Angharad James present for the reveal, marked the start of a three-year deal that has seen the Welsh Premier League Cup renamed to the Nathaniel MG Cup.
Nathaniel’s reputation for great service has seen the dealer take the record for selling the most MG3s since the car launched. Available in three trim levels, Explore, Excite and Exclusive, the hatchback comes with an extensive list of equipment as standard. Prices for the MG3 start from just £9,495 with the top of the range Exclusive model available from just £12,795 OTR. The brand’s latest offering, the all-electric ZS EV was previewed last month at the London Motor and Tech Show, with deliveries of the pioneering car set to begin in September.
