SSE part of the SSE Group, one of the UK’s largest and fastest growing energy companies has taken delivery of a fleet of new Isuzu D-Max Pick-Ups. In total, 215 Isuzu D-Max Pick-ups have been ordered. One of the SSE branded Isuzu D-Max Pick-ups is now being proudly displayed at the Commercial Vehicle Show at the NEC.
The new vehicles will be used by its team of engineers to maintain the electricity networks supplying over 3.7 million homes and business across central southern England and north of the central Belt of Scotland 24/7 365 days a year.

The companies new Isuzu D-Max vehicles comprise Utility Double Cabs, Extended Cabs and Single Cabs. All of them have been fitted with BF Goodrich Tyres for added functionality when out on the job, also Isuzu UK have had these vehicles painted in Sapphire Blue from the factory, especially for SSE.
The Isuzu D-Max suits many different business applications being available in three different cab types, Single, Double and Extended Cab all boasting a 1 tonne payload and a punchy 164PS Turbo Diesel engine mated to a 6-speed auto or manual gearbox.
